The owner Richard and his team deserve 10 stars. They did a great job at removing a large tree stump from yard and carefully removed a second one located next to my garage. They paid extreme attention to detail from beginning to end. They cleaned up very well!

Richard gave good advice about appropriate trimming, then sent Dale with an excellent crew. They were fast, thorough and careful, and did an amazing job cleaning up. The price was very reasonable and the crew was professional and personable.

Today a tree fell in our back yard. It ended up precariously held in position leaning on another tree. if it fell further it could have caused thousands in damage. I called Hercules Tree Service and they were here within 30 minutes, and the tree was safely removed in another 15. Quality service.Highly recommend.

Don't bother looking anywhere else! These guys are the best. Showed up on time with a great crew and the place was cleaner after they left than it was before they arrived.

I phoned for an estimate. The owner showed up on time. The estimate was satisfactory. The estimate included an emailed copy of their insurance to protect me in the event of an accident. He told me he would contact me within a week to set a date. It was about 2 weeks later that he contacted me with a date. He explained that he had been out of town. His crew showed up on time. I was impressed with their organization. They were like an assembly line. One man harnessed on the tree, a second man holding the harness, a third man holding the harnessed branch that will be cut. Two more men on the ground picking up branches & carrying them to their truck/trailer to shred. They ground down into the trunk. They said about 12" deep. I did not check the depth but saw them doing it. They cleaned up the yard around the tree. They cleaned up the street & my driveway where they had parked. The estimate said it would take 2+ hours. On arrival they said it would be 2.5-3 hours. They finished in about 2.75 hours. The entire crew was well mannered & friendly. My realtor told me that she needed a tree company. I referred her to them.

My wife and I interviewed SEVEN companies to undertake a massive tree pruning on four enormous and beautiful trees in our front yard: cutting back dead wood and heavy branches on a 75' deodar cedar, reducing two overgrown live oaks (which revealed a bay view we didn't know we had!), topping and cabling a bifurcated red spruce, and removing a dozen "rounds" left over from another job several years ago performed by another outfit. Richard Cabrera is a total pro with decades of experience, and although he did not offer the lowest bid, we were most impressed with his obvious love for his work, the respect he had for these four lovely trees, and his intent to make them all lighter and safer while maintaining their shape. He brought a half-dozen men with him and the job was done efficiently and safely. Any time there was a question, he called on us to help clarify our wishes. After all the chipping was complete, they cleaned up the yard, blew all the debris off our walkways and driveway and left the property looking better than when they arrived. WONDERFUL being the recipient of UNDER-promising and OVER-delivering! Finally, a small thing, but to us underscored their care for their customers, the invoice included a self-addressed and STAMPED envelope. I recommend Hercules Tree Service without reservation; they are absolutely worth every penny of their efforts.
