My wife and I interviewed SEVEN companies to undertake a massive tree pruning on four enormous and beautiful trees in our front yard: cutting back dead wood and heavy branches on a 75' deodar cedar, reducing two overgrown live oaks (which revealed a bay view we didn't know we had!), topping and cabling a bifurcated red spruce, and removing a dozen "rounds" left over from another job several years ago performed by another outfit. Richard Cabrera is a total pro with decades of experience, and although he did not offer the lowest bid, we were most impressed with his obvious love for his work, the respect he had for these four lovely trees, and his intent to make them all lighter and safer while maintaining their shape. He brought a half-dozen men with him and the job was done efficiently and safely. Any time there was a question, he called on us to help clarify our wishes. After all the chipping was complete, they cleaned up the yard, blew all the debris off our walkways and driveway and left the property looking better than when they arrived. WONDERFUL being the recipient of UNDER-promising and OVER-delivering! Finally, a small thing, but to us underscored their care for their customers, the invoice included a self-addressed and STAMPED envelope. I recommend Hercules Tree Service without reservation; they are absolutely worth every penny of their efforts.

Hercules Tree Service was recommended to us by word of mouth. We needed some branches trimmed from a cluster of huge eucalyptus trees. Hercules Tree Service gave us the most competitive quote. Rich came out and gave us an estimate the day after we called. His personable and easy going demeanor was refreshing. He was very honest and straightforward about what the job would entail and how much it would cost. The work was scheduled and completed the very next week. The crew were all very friendly and efficient. It was actually enjoyable to watch them in action. One of our fence's sustained some minor damage from a stray branch. They immediately accepted responsibility and completed repairs shortly after. The repair is super solid and the fence operates as if nothing ever happened. I am truly grateful for professionals like these who are able to perform jobs that are beyond our own capabilities. They removed a small tree in my backyard. Very fair pricing, fast, easy. All debris removed and left the after clean. Hopefully i don't need their services anytime soon, but if I do they will be my first call.

I phoned for an estimate. The owner showed up on time. The estimate was satisfactory. The estimate included an emailed copy of their insurance to protect me in the event of an accident. He told me he would contact me within a week to set a date. It was about 2 weeks later that he contacted me with a date. He explained that he had been out of town. His crew showed up on time. I was impressed with their organization. They were like an assembly line. One man harnessed on the tree, a second man holding the harness, a third man holding the harnessed branch that will be cut. Two more men on the ground picking up branches & carrying them to their truck/trailer to shred. They ground down into the trunk. They said about 12" deep. I did not check the depth but saw them doing it. They cleaned up the yard around the tree. They cleaned up the street & my driveway where they had parked. The estimate said it would take 2+ hours. On arrival they said it would be 2.5-3 hours. They finished in about 2.75 hours. The entire crew was well mannered & friendly. My realtor told me that she needed a tree company. I referred her to them.

I can not say enough great things about this company and the people who work here! I had 3 trees trimmed today, one massive liquid amber and 2 large live oak trees. They look fantastic! The guys were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. They were careful around my chickens and they cleaned up as they worked and left my property looking pristine! The price was competitive and reasonable. I feel like I got a great value for the work done. They even took the dead wood off our old cherry tree too, just threw it in. Rich the owner is great, and Dale and his crew are fantastic. Do not hesitate to call!
